If you want to join the UC Bearcat Drumline, then you first need to let Mr. Angelis know that you will be coming. His contact information can be found on the "Contact Us" page. Send him an email with the subject line stating "prospective member" and he will get back to you with information.
FYI - Drum tryouts are usually in late August (these dates are subject to change) and last for three days; all friday, saturday, and sunday til 2 or 3. Since drum material will be available before the tryout dates, we expect that you will take the time to know the warmups, cadences, and fight songs before you come to camp. This helps us learn the music for shows before band camp allowing us to perfect our drill during camp rather than trying to learn the music. Band camp lasts about two weeks during late August to early September. Be sure to leave this time frame (late August until school starts) open so you can participate.
