This piece was commissioned by Theta Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma to honor the 75th Anniversary of the Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi.

The Sisters of Theta knew an important gift should be presented to their Brothers because of the strong bonds that existed between the two chapters.  Having a piece of music commissioned by an Alumni member of Upsilon seemed to be the perfect gift.

Thoughts of commissioning this piece began almost an entire year before it was presented to the Brothers of Upsilon.  The Sisters of Theta were able to keep the project a complete secret in order to present it as a surprise to Upsilon at their 75th Anniversary party.

The Brothers were more than surprised at the presentation and were in awe after the piece was performed.  This song has helped to foster the bond between the Sisters of Theta and the Brothers of Upsilon.  This piece of music will always carry a certain level of respect and sentiment through the two Chapters.  Theta allowed the University of Cincinnati Bearcat Concert Band use this piece of music and it was performed at their concert in May 2003.  This service that was originally intended for Upsilon was extended to the UC Band and now the Theta Chapter would like to extend that warm feeling to High School and University Bands across the nation.
